About Me
Arianna Trudie Ruthenberg grew up in New York and was Inspired by the baking shows on TV and classes at a local store to apply to Johnson & Wales University. She made the Dean’s List for all trimesters she attended JWU and recieved her Associate' Degree of Science, Summa Cum Laude, and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree of Science, Summa Cum Laude, as well.
Since graduating college in 2014, Arianna has worked in the field. She gained experience at Haute So Sweet and Rhapsody Cakes. There she produced thousands of cake pops and many unique specialty cakes, wedding cakes, royal icing cookies, and many more fondant and modeling chocolate treats.
In addition, Arianna worked at Carlo's Bakery. Helping open a new location on Long Island, she learned many new customer service skills, including taking and pricing cake orders, and supervising the entire front of house staff.
Returning to the back of house, she worked at Magnolia Bakery in New York City. There she decorated cakes, iced cupcakes with the signature swirl, and made frostings galore. She taught classes and birthday parties, iced wedding cakes, and did a little bit of everything else.
She currently works at Buttercooky Bakery where she has enhanced her fondant skills, including intricate decorations and figures. Additionally, she excelled with managerial tasks including inventory, organization of custom orders and tasks, and ensuring that all orders were perfect before being presented to the clients.
Outside of the bakeshop, Arianna has lots of hobbies. She likes everything Barbie, bullet journaling, DIY projects, and is addicted to Gossip Girl. She can quote movies word for word; everything from Mean Girls to Pirates of the Caribbean, and so many more. She admits to liking all the boy bands she probably shouldn’t admit to liking. She is a Disney girl, with special affection for Buzz Lightyear. Arianna can be found at Chipotle or Starbucks, and her overall favorite food is Mac and Cheese. She likes taking selfies on Snapchat and taking pictures of her food for Instagram before she eats it. Her life motto is “Everything is better with sparkles.”
